About the Import Software Updates Catalog Wizard

The Import Software Updates Catalog Wizard in System Center Updates Publisher can import one or more software updates catalogs from Independent Software Vendors, solution integrators, or from internal sources. The wizard pages are described in the following table.

Import Update Wizard Page Description

Select Import Method Page

Specifies the import method for the software updates catalog.

Select File Page

Specifies the path to the software updates catalog that is imported. This page is available only when importing a single catalog.

Summary Page

Provides a summary of the properties configured in the wizard.

Progress Page

Displays the current task and progress when software updates catalogs are imported.

Confirmation Page

Displays a summary of the properties associated with the imported software updates catalogs.
