Adding Constraints to a Schedule

Constraints can also be added within a schedule, in addition to any constraints attached to the job when it was created. You can add common contexts and global or custom mixes the same way.

Note: Conflicts can occur between a job’s constraints and those of the schedule if they are contradictory. These conflicts can be viewed by clicking the Conflicts button shown on the Schedule Constraints tab when scheduling a job.

To add constraints to a schedule

  1. When creating a job schedule, select the Schedule Constraints tab.

  2. In the empty cell in the Dimension column, select a dimension for this constraint from the drop-down list.

  3. In the Operator column, select an appropriate operator from the drop-down list.

  4. In the Value column, type a value for the dimension.

Note: The dimension value may be a single value or a list of values, depending on the selected dimension and operator.

  5. Continue creating the job schedule.
