Namespace:   Microsoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks
Assembly:  Microsoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks.Vs (in Microsoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks.Vs.dll)

Syntax

protected virtual void OnItemValuePushed(
    DataRepeaterItemValueEventArgs e
)
protected:
virtual void OnItemValuePushed(
    DataRepeaterItemValueEventArgs^ e
)
abstract OnItemValuePushed :
        e:DataRepeaterItemValueEventArgs -> unit
override OnItemValuePushed :
        e:DataRepeaterItemValueEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnItemValuePushed (
    e As DataRepeaterItemValueEventArgs
)

Parameters

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnItemValuePushed method also enables derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors:

When you override OnItemValuePushed in a derived class, make sure to call the OnItemValuePushed method of the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
