Applications Node

Use the Applications node to view or modify the applications and Web servers defined for the parent site.

  • Double-click the Applications node to expand and collapse it.

  • Click the Applications node to display the applications defined for the parent site in the right pane.

  • Right-click the Applications node to access the following options:

New

Access the management functions for the parent site. Functions available are as follows:

  • Add Application. Starts the Site Packager tool to add an application to the site from an existing site package file.

  • Add Non-Commerce Application. Access the New Non-Commerce Application dialog box to define a non-Commerce application.

View

Access Microsoft Management Console (MMC) view options. For more information, click Help Topics on the Help menu of the main window and access the Hide or display features of a saved MMC console topic.

New Window from Here

Open a new window with the selected global resource and its child objects in a new MMC window.

Refresh

Update the content of all MMC console windows.

Export List

Save the list of child objects defined under the Applications node to a text file.
