_DTSDeleteImport::get_WebLogDeleteType, put_WebLogDeleteType Property

The WebLogDeleteType property is a read/write Long that specifies the type of delete to be completed.

Parameters

  • WebLogDeleteType
    [C++]

    [out] When getting a property, a long that specifies the type of delete to be completed.

    [in] When putting a property, a long that specifies the type of delete to be completed.

Return Value

[C++]

This method returns an HRESULT indicating whether it completed successfully. See the Error Values section for more details.

Error Values

This method returns S_OK (0x00000000) to indicate success and standard COM HRESULT error values to indicate failure. For more information about standard COM errors, see Standard COM Errors. Additional information may be available using the global Err object, which can be accessed using the API function GetErrorInfo. In particular, the GetDescription method of the IErrorInfo interface may return a text description of the error.

This method sets the Number property of the global Err object to S_OK (&H00000000) to indicate success and to standard COM error values to indicate failure. For more information about standard COM errors, see Standard COM Errors. Additional information may be available using the global Err object. In particular, the Description property may contain a text description of the error.

Remarks

The WebLogDeleteType property is only used if the DeleteType property is set to 1 (Web Log Import Delete).

If the WebLogDeleteType property is set to 0, Web log files older than the date specified by the Interval property will be deleted. If the WebLogDeleteType property is set to 1, the Web log files exceeding the number specified by the Count property will be deleted. If the WebLogDeleteType property is set to 2, the Web log files specified by the ListofLogs property will be deleted. The default value is 2.
