How to View Basket Properties and Details

Customers shopping on your Web site put their purchases into a basket. Baskets are containers for items that have not yet been processed as orders. You can view the properties and details of the baskets by using the Customer and Order Manager. However, you cannot edit these properties or details.

To view basket properties and details

  1. Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 , and then click Customer and Orders Manager.

  2. In Customer and Orders Manager, in the Views pane, click Baskets.

  3. Use the Search Baskets pane to search for the basket that you want to view.

  4. In the Search Results pane, select the basket that you want to view.

  5. In the Tasks pane, click Open.

    The following properties are listed in the <Basket name> Properties screen:

    Use this

    Buyer Name

    View the buyer name.

    Tracking Number

    View the number to use to track this basket.

    Basket name

    View the name of the basket.

    Billing currency

    View the billing currency used to pay for this order.

    Date created

    View the date this order was created.

    Date last modified

    View the date this order was last modified.

    Order status

    View the status of the order.

    Sub total

    View the sub total costs for this order.

    Tax

    View the tax amount for this order.

    Shipping charges

    View the shipping charges total for this order.

    Handling charges

    View the handling charges total for this order.

    Discount total

    View the discount total for this order.

    Total

    View the total cost for this order.

    The following details are listed in the <Basket name> Basket details screen:

    Order Forms tab

    View the order form name and order form status.

    As line items, view the product catalog, display name, product variant ID, quantity ordered, and list price.

    Shipments tab

    View the shipping method, tracking number, shipment status, and recipient.

    As line items, view the product catalog, display name, product variant ID, quantity ordered, and list price.

    Addresses tab

    View the address for the order.

    Payments tab

    View the payment ID, method, and type.

    Discounts and Promo Codes tab

    Select to display discounts or promo codes from the drop-down list.

    • If displaying discounts, view the quantity of discounts applied to this basket in parentheses.

    • View the discount application level, discount name, and type of discount.

    • View the description of this discount coupon when it was created.

    • View targets on which discounts were applied. View the quantity of discount targets in parentheses.

    • If viewing promo codes, view the promo code assigned to this discount coupon when it was created.

    Advanced tab

    View the following:

    • Name of whoever last modified this order.

    • GUID for the order group.

    • ID of the buyer and the buyer's address.

    • GUID for the basket (basket ID).

    • Number of items in the basket.

  6. Click Close on the toolbar.
