How to Add a Script File to a Staging Project

This topic provides steps to add a script file to a staging project in Commerce Server Staging (CSS). You add a script file to perform a custom task before or after a staging project starts.

To add a script file to a staging project

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 , and the click Commerce Server Staging.

  2. In Microsoft Management Console (MMC), in the left pane, expand Commerce Server Staging, expand <server name>, and then click Projects.

  3. In the right pane, right-click the project that you want to change, and then click Properties.

  4. In the Project Properties dialog box, on the Scripts tab, do the following:

    To do this

    Before any content is sent

    Type the path and file name of a script to run before content is sent.

    After all content is sent

    Type the path and file name of a script to run after content is sent.

    Before any content is received

    Type the path and file name of a script to run before content is received.

    After all content is received

    Type the path and file name of a script to run after content is received.

  5. Click OK.
