Project Properties, IIS Tab

Use Project Properties dialog box, IIS tab, to specify the virtual directory to be assigned on the Web site to host the IIS Metabase. You can also specify the access options assigned to the virtual directory.

Use this

To do this

Virtual directory to be assigned to the project

Type the relative path of the physical directory to be mapped for the virtual directory. Make sure that you include the "/" character at the start of the path.

Web Site name

Select the Web site that you want to host in the virtual directory from the drop-down list.

Allow read access

Select to enable clients to perform read operations and download files from the virtual directory.

Allow write access

Select to enable clients to perform write operations and upload content to the virtual directory.

Allow script access

Select to enable clients to run scripts in the virtual directory.

Allow directory browsing

Select to enable clients to move through the structure of the virtual directory.

Allow execute access

Select to enable clients to run executable files and scripts in the virtual directory.
