How to Configure a Site Resource

After you add a site resource to a site, you can change the properties used by the site resource at any time. All site resources used by a site expose an object at the site level.

Global resources that are used by a site expose an object at the site level (a global resource pointer); however, the only property that the object exposes is a pointer to the associated global resource. For information about how to configure global resources, see How to Configure a Global Resource.

To configure a site resource

  1. Expand Commerce Server Manager, expand Commerce Sites, and then expand the site that you want to administer.

  2. Expand Site Resources, right-click the site resource to be configured, and then click Properties.

  3. In the Properties dialog box, select the property you want to configure, and then type the value in the Selected Property Value box.

  4. When you are finished configuring the properties for the site resource, click OK.

  5. After you change a property in Commerce Server Manager, you must restart all services that use those values. For instructions, see How to Restart IIS and How to Restart Commerce Server Services.
