Using the Pipeline Editor Property Pages
The Pipeline Editor provide an easy interface for viewing and modifying the properties for pipelines, stages, and components.
You use the following dialog boxes to edit the properties for pipelines, stages, and components.
Element | Dialog Box | Description |
Pipeline | Pipe Properties | Pipeline name, the type of pipeline the .pcf file can be used with, currency and LCID settings, and comments. |
Stage | Stage Properties | Stage name, description, GUID, mode and error level settings, and comments. |
Component | Component Properties, Values Read and Written, component-specific pages | Component name, Class ID, ProgID, description, values read from and written to the order form, and values read from the Context dictionary object.
A component that has configurable properties may have an additional property page whose options are specific to that component. |
To view properties in the Pipeline Editor
Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2000, and then click Pipeline Editor.
In the Pipeline Editor, right-click the name of the pipeline, stage, or component whose properties you want to view, and then click Properties.
The properties for the pipeline, stage, or component you want to view appear in the Pipeline Editor.
This section contains:
Pipeline Properties. Describes how to change properties of the pipeline as a whole, and how to change specific properties in the Pipeline Properties dialog box.
Stage Properties. Describes how to change the properties of a stage.
Component Properties. Describes how to change the properties of an individual component.
Values Read and Written Properties. Describes how to view the values read and written properties for an individual component.
Creation Error Properties. Describes the error dialog box that appears when a pipeline component cannot be loaded.
