Creating a Messaging Port on the Destination Server
The destination BizTalk Server is the vendor.
To create a messaging port on the destination server
- On the destination BizTalk Server, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft BizTalk Server, and then click BizTalk Messaging Manager.
- In BizTalk Messaging Manager, on the File menu, point to New, point to Port, and then click To an Application.
- In the New Messaging Port Wizard, in the General Information screen, in the Name box, type the name of the port (for example, OnPortFromSource), and then click Next.
- In the Destination Application screen, select the Application option, and then in the Name box, select the name of the application (for example, POApplication) from the drop-down list.
- In the Primary Transport section, click Browse to the right of the Address box.
- In the Primary Transport dialog box, in the Transport type box, select HTTP from the drop-down list.
- In the Address box, type http://<destination server name>/<site name>/_recvpo.asp, and then click OK.
- Click Next.
- In the Envelope Information screen, leave the Envelope information box blank because the default XML file is being used.
- Click Next.
- In the Security Information screen, verify the Create a channel for this messaging port check box is selected.
- In the Channel type box, select From an application from the drop-down list, and then click Finish.
- In the General Information screen, click Cancel.
The messaging port between the Home Organization and the destination organization is created.
