Name Property

Gets or sets the name of the current Expression object.

Property Value

Type: System..::.String
The name of the expression. May not be greater than 100 characters. All the expressions must have a unique name, May not be nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

An attempt was made to set the name to nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

StringLengthValidationException

An attempt was made to set the name to a string that was too long or to an empty string.

Remarks

The maximum length is 100 characters. When setting this property, leading and/or trailing whitespace is removed. Name must be unique, however a local expression is allowed to have the same as another local expression provided they are in different campaign item contexts.
