CatalogInitializationException Constructor (String, Exception)

Initializes a new instance of the CatalogInitializationException class with the specified error message and inner exception that caused the current exception.

Parameters

  • message
    Type: System..::.String
    The error message that explains the reason for the exception.
  • inner
    Type: System..::.Exception
    The exception that is the cause of the current exception, or a nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if no inner exception is specified.

Remarks

If the inner parameter is not a nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference, the current exception is raised in a catch block that handles the inner exception.

The exception that is thrown when the catalog server is incorrectly configured and cannot be started.

All catalog exceptions, including the CatalogInitializationException are derived from the CatalogException class. This exception can be caused by incorrect settings in the Product Catalog resource for the specified site, or incorrect settings in the catalog web service Web.config file.
