DefaultCharacterSet Property

Gets or sets the default character set that will be used to generate the body for the DirectMail.

Property Value

Type: System..::.String
The character set that will be used to generate the body for the DirectMail. The default value is nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

DefaultCharacterSet has been set to nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

StringLengthValidationException

DefaultCharacterSet has been set to an invalid value.

Remarks

Character Set (or encoding) that will be used for recipients that didn’t specify the preferred Character Set.
