MSVidWebDVD.AudioLanguage Property

The AudioLanguage property retrieves a string indicating the language of the specified audio stream.

VidWebDVD.AudioLanguage(
   lStream As Long,  
   fFormat As Boolean
) as String 

Parameters

  • lStream
    Long indicating the stream, from 0 through 7.

  • fFormat
    Flag, True indicating sound format details included in return value. Currently not implemented.

Return Value

Returns a human-readable string identifying the language of the audio stream in the current title.

Error Codes

If the property fails, Err.Number may be set to one of the following values.

Value Description
E_UNEXPECTED Unspecified error.
E_NO_IDVD2_PRESENT Unspecified internal error.
E_NO_DVD_VOLUME No DVD available.
E_REGION_CHANGE_FAIL The DVD has the wrong region code for this machine.

Remarks

This property is read-only. This method is zero-based, unlike AudioStreamsAvailable, so be careful to subtract one from the return value of AudioStreamsAvailable when iterating through all streams.
