Remarks

Properties such as parental level or default audio language that are set using the MSVidWebDVD object are generally applied to the current session only. A user wishing to save these settings as default values in the registry should use the corresponding methods on the MSVidWebDVDAdm object.

Sometimes a user may wish to temporarily change settings, then revert to the saved settings during a viewing session. For example, a parent watching a film may temporarily raise the parental level of the viewer to allow mature content, but wish to restore lower settings after playing a disc. RestorePreferredSettings allows the user to restore the saved DVD language and level settings saved using SaveParentalLevel on the MSVidWebDVDAdm object. The reader must be stopped when executing this method.
