FPCCacheContents Object

The FPCCacheContents object has the single method FetchUrl for downloading content directly to the Forefront TMG cache and setting the time that the cached object will be stored in the cache. The FetchUrl method can also be used to delete an object from the cache.

For more information about using FetchUrl, see Using FetchURL to Extend the Cache.

The Forefront TMG cache prefetching feature lets you download content directly to the Forefront TMG cache, upon request or as scheduled. Prefetching allows you to update the Forefront TMG cache with content that you anticipate will be requested by clients in your organization.

You can configure the content that Forefront TMG should prefetch. You can also schedule when the content should be cached, available for access directly from the Forefront TMG cache, rather than from the Internet.

The FPCCacheContents object is accessed through the CacheContents property of an FPCCache object.
