DirectAddressDestinations Property of the IFPCClientAutoScript Interface

The DirectAddressDestinations property gets an FPCPublicNames collection (IFPCPublicNames interface representing the collection in C++) containing the domain names of destinations that Web browsers configured to use the default automatic configuration script will access directly, bypassing the Web proxy.

Parameters

  • ppPublicNames
    Address of an interface pointer that on return points to an IFPCPublicNames interface representing the collection of domain names of the destinations that Web browsers configured to use the default automatic configuration script will access directly, bypassing the Web proxy.

Return Value

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

This property is read-only. It can be modified by calling the methods of the FPCPublicNames collection (IFPCPublicNames interface in C++).

Each element of the collection may represent one of the following:

  • A single computer, which is specified by its fully qualified domain name (FQDN) or by its computer name.
  • All the computers in a domain, which are specified by a string of the form "*.<domain_name>".
  • All the computers in all domains in the network, which are specified by an asterisk (*).
