IsApplicationFilterSelected Method of the IFPCSnapinPluginPolicy Interface
The IsApplicationFilterSelected method verifies that the policy rule of the node applies to one or more protocols associated with the specified application filter. The IsApplicationFilterSelected method cannot be used in Visual Basic.
Syntax
HRESULT IsApplicationFilterSelected(
[in] BSTR bstrAppFilterGuid
);
Parameters
- bstrAppFilterGuid
String containing the globally unique identifier (GUID) of the application filter to check in the form {12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789ABC}. Note the presence of the braces normally used with GUIDs.
Return Value
This method can return one of the following:
- S_OK (0x00000000), indicating that the policy rule of the node applies to one or more protocols associated with the specified application filter.
- S_FALSE (0x00000001), indicating that the policy rule of the node does not apply to any protocol associated with the specified application filter.
- An error code with the severity bit set to 1, indicating that the operation failed.
