SetPrimaryIpAddress Method of the IFPCAdapter2 Interface
The SetPrimaryIpAddress method sets the primary IP address of the network adapter.

Parameters
- newVal
Required. BSTR that specifies the primary IP address to set for the network adapter.
Return Value
This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Parameters
- newVal
Required. String value that specifies the primary IP address to set for the network adapter.
Return Value
This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
Remarks
The current primary IP address of the network adapter can be retrieved by calling the GetPrimaryIpAddress method.
