EnableFirewallClients Property of the IFPCNetwork Interface

The EnableFirewallClients property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether Forefront TMG Client computers and Firewall clients on the network are supported. If Forefront TMG Client computers and Firewall clients are not supported, secure network address translation (SecureNAT) and Web proxy clients on the network may be supported.

Parameters

  • fFWClientsEnabled
    Boolean value that indicates whether Forefront TMG Client computers and Firewall clients on the network are supported.

  • pfFWClientsEnabled
    Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if Forefront TMG Client computers and Firewall clients on the network are supported, or to VARIANT_FALSE if Forefront TMG Client computers and Firewall clients on the network are not supported.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Boolean value that indicates whether Forefront TMG Client computers and Firewall clients on the network are supported.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++). When this property is set to True (VARIANT_TRUE in C++), Forefront TMG will accept requests from Forefront TMG Client computers and Firewall clients in the network on TCP port 1745 and will supply configuration settings to all Forefront TMG Client computers and Firewall clients residing in the network.
