AddRaw Method of the IFPCProtocolConnections Interface

The AddRaw method creates a new FPCProtocolConnection object for a raw protocol and returns a reference to it. A raw protocol is any protocol other than the primary protocols supported by Forefront TMG, which are TCP, UDP, ICMP, and GRE.

C++

Syntax

HRESULT AddRaw(
  [in]   FpcUDPConnectionDirectionType Direction,
  [in]   FpcConnectionProtocolType Protocol,
  [out]  IFPCProtocolConnection** ppNewProtocolConnection
);

Parameters

  • Direction
    Required. Value from the FpcUDPConnectionDirectionType enumerated type that specifies the direction of the new connection.

  • Protocol
    Required. Value from the FpcConnectionProtocolType enumerated type that specifies the protocol for the new connection.

  • ppNewProtocolConnection
    Address of an interface pointer that on return points to the new IFPCProtocolConnection interface created.

Return Value

This method can return one of the following:

  • S_OK, indicating that the operation succeeded.
  • An error code indicating that the operation failed. In this case, the [out] parameter returned is a null object.
