ActivateRASServerOnDomain Method of the IFPCServer Interface

The ActivateRASServerOnDomain method adds or removes the server from the RAS and IAS Servers groups on the domain controller.

Syntax

HRESULT ActivateRASServerOnDomain(
  [in]  VARIANT_BOOL fActivate
);

Parameters

  • fActivate
    Boolean value that should be set to VARIANT_TRUE if the method is called to add the server to the RAS and IAS Servers groups on the domain controller, or to VARIANT_FALSE if the method is called to remove the server from the RAS and IAS Servers groups on the domain controller.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

If this method is called on a computer that does not belong to a domain, it returns E_FPC_SERVER_NOT_JOINED_TO_DOMAIN.

  • fActivate
    Boolean value that should be set to True if the method is called to add the server to the RAS and IAS Servers groups on the domain controller, or to False if the method is called to remove the server from the RAS and IAS Servers groups on the domain controller.

Return Value

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

If this method is called on a computer that does not belong to a domain, it raises an E_FPC_SERVER_NOT_JOINED_TO_DOMAIN error.
