SetPrimaryDNSSuffix Method of the IFPCServer3 Interface

The SetPrimaryDNSSuffix method sets the primary DNS suffix of the computer.

Syntax

HRESULT SetPrimaryDNSSuffix(
  [in]  BSTR DNSsuffix
);

Parameters

  • DNSsuffix
    Required. BSTR that specifies the DNSsuffix of the computer.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Parameters

  • DNSsuffix
    Required. String that specifies the DNSSuffix of the computer.

Return Value

If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.
