StopJobSchedulerService Method of the IFPCServer Interface

The StopJobSchedulerService method stops the Microsoft Forefront TMG Job Scheduler service on the server.

Syntax

HRESULT StopJobSchedulerService(
  [in, optional]  VARIANT_BOOL fWaitUntilComplete
);

Parameters

  • fWaitUntilComplete
    Boolean value that specifies whether the method waits for the operation to complete before returning S_OK or an error. The default value is VARIANT_TRUE.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Parameters

  • fWaitUntilComplete
    Boolean value that specifies whether the method waits for the operation to complete before returning or raising an error. The default value is True.

Return Value

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

The Microsoft Forefront TMG Job Scheduler service can be started on the server by calling the StartJobSchedulerService method.
