GetIpFilter Method of the IFWXNetworkSocket Interface

The GetIpFilter method gets a copy of the IP filter object for the socket. Returns NULL if the connection is not limited to a range of IP addresses.

Syntax

HRESULT GetIpFilter(
  [out]  IFWXIpFilter** ppIpFilter
);

Parameters

ppIpFilter
Address of an interface pointer that on return points to a copy of the IFWXIpFilter interface requested.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

Because the returned object is a copy, modifying the copy will not affect the socket object.
