Listen Method of the IFWXNetworkSocket Interface

The Listen method listens on a TCP socket.

Syntax

HRESULT Listen(
  [in]  INT Backlog
);

Parameters

  • Backlog
    Maximum length of the queue of pending connections. This is the same as the backlog parameter of the Winsock listen function.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

The Listen method indicates to the network that you are willing to accept connections to the port for which you have a bind.

Version Requires Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010.
