BlockUnknownEncoding Property of the IFPCMalwareInspectionScannerSettings Interface

The BlockUnknownEncoding property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the malware inspection scanner will block files with unknown encoding or encryption.

Parameters

  • fBlockUnknownEncoding
    Boolean value that indicates whether the malware inspection scanner will block files with unknown encoding or encryption.

  • pfBlockUnknownEncoding
    Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if the malware inspection scanner will block files with unknown encoding or encryption, or to VARIANT_FALSE if files with unknown encoding and encryption will not be blocked.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. The default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).
