Credentials for OMA Client Provisioning

To enable over-the-air provisioning by using WAP push, OEMs must bootstrap the phone with the mobile operator’s OMA Client Provisioning information, including the Trusted Provisioning Server (TPS) and the privileged Push Proxy Gateway (PPG) used by the TPS for continuous provisioning. For information about configuring PPGs, see Push proxy gateway configuration.

Trusted Provisioning Server

The following sample sets the Trusted Provisioning Server (TPS) for the phone.

<Settings Path="DeviceManagement/Bootstrap">
    <Setting Name="TrustedProvisioningServer" Value="https://www.contoso.com/TPS" />
</Settings>
  • TrustedProvisioningServer
    Specifies the location of a Trusted Provisioning Server (TPS). The location must be a complete URL string with a maximum length of 256 characters.
