Preinstalled SSL root certificates
Windows Phone uses the same certificate program as Windows: the Windows Root Certificate Program. Certificate updates are done automatically. For more information on this program, currently distributed root certificates, and Certification Authorities (CAs) who are members of the program, see Microsoft Root Certificate Program.
If you need an SSL root certificate on the phone that is not provided as part of the program, you can add a certificate. For general information about adding certificates to the certificate store, see Adding certificates to the phone.
