Scan configures the scheduled scan that Windows Defender runs. Windows Defender is an application that can help prevent, remove, and quarantine malware (malicious software) and spyware.

Topic	Description
ScanParameters	ScanParameters specifies whether to run a quick scan or a full system scan during a scheduled scan.
ScheduleDay	ScheduleDay specifies the day of the week that Windows® Defender runs a scheduled full scan to complete remediation. The full scan can also be configured to run every day or to never run at all.
ScheduleTime	ScheduleTime specifies the time of day when Windows® Defender will run a scheduled full scan in order to complete remediation.
