Property Value

The time, in milliseconds, to wait for a response from a synchronous request. The default value is 120000 (2 minutes).

Exceptions

Exception type	Condition
System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException	Timeout is set to a value less than or equal to zero, not including -1.

Remarks

Setting the Timeout property to -1 specifies that the time-out is infinite.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
