WSE Tools

The Web Services Enhancements for Microsoft .NET (WSE) tools are designed to make it easier for you to create, deploy, and manage applications and components that use the WSE. This section contains detailed information about the tools.

In This Section

• WSDL to SoapClient Tool (WseWsdl2.exe)
  Generates proxy code for Web service clients from Web Services Description Language (WSDL) files.

• WSE Settings 2.0 Tool (WseSettingsVS2.dll and WseConfigEditor2.exe)
  Allows you to enable the WSE features by using a graphical user interface in Visual Studio .NET 2003.

• X.509 Certificate Tool (WseCertificate2.exe)
  Displays details about X.509 certificates stored on the local computer.
