SecurityTokenServiceClient.BeginIssueSecurityTokenResponse Method

Begins an asynchronous request for a security token from a security token service using the response from a previous security token request.

Parameters

  • callback
    An System.AsyncCallback that is called when the asynchronous operation is completed. If callback is null, the delegate is not called.
  • state
    An object that contains state information for this request.

Return Value

An System.IAsyncResult that contains the details of the asynchronous request.

Remarks

Use this IssueSecurityTokenResponse overload when multiple messages must be exchanged between the SOAP sender and the security token service. Multiple messages may be required if a security token service uses a challenge/response mechanism to authenticate the SOAP message sender.
