A RequestSecurityToken that represents the request.

Return Value

A RequestSecurityTokenResponse that contains the details of the response.

Exceptions

Exception type	Condition
TrustFault	The default implementation of this method is used.

Remarks

To create a security token service, this is the primary method that must be implemented. The IssueSecurityTokenRequest method handles requests sent to the security token service and issues security tokens for requests deemed valid.

The default implementation of this method always throws a TrustFault exception.

The IssueSecurityTokenRequest method calls the SetupIssuedToken method.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
