true if the collection is read-only; otherwise, false . The default is false .

An AddressList that is read-only does not allow the addition, removal, or modification of Address objects after the AddressList is created.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
