InkOverlay.Painted Event

Occurs when the InkOverlay object has completed redrawing itself.

Namespace: Microsoft.Ink
Assembly: Microsoft.Ink (in microsoft.ink.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Event Painted As InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler
'Usage
Dim instance As InkOverlay
Dim handler As InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler

AddHandler instance.Painted, handler
public event InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler Painted
public:
event InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler^ Painted {
    void add (InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler^ value);
    void remove (InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler^ value);
}
/** @event */
public void add_Painted (InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler value)

/** @event */
public void remove_Painted (InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler value)
In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
Not applicable.

Remarks

The event handler receives an argument of type PaintEventArgsPaintEventArgs containing data about this event.

When you create an InkOverlayPaintedEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that handles the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For performance reasons, the default event interest is off but is turned on automatically if you add an event handler.

Example

This C# example counts the number of times that an InkOverlay object, theInkOverlay, redraws itself.

//...
  private void inkOverlay_Painted(object sender, System.Windows.Forms.PaintEventArgs e)
  {
      paintCount++;
      System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine("Painted " + paintCount.ToString() + " times.");
  }
//...

This Microsoft Visual Basic .NET example counts the number of times that an InkOverlay object, theInkOverlay, redraws itself.
