Namespace:  Microsoft.Ink
Assembly:  Microsoft.Ink (in Microsoft.Ink.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Protected Overrides Sub OnMouseDown ( _
    e As MouseEventArgs _
)
'Usage
Dim e As MouseEventArgs

Me.OnMouseDown(e)
protected override void OnMouseDown(
    MouseEventArgs e
)
protected:
virtual void OnMouseDown(
    MouseEventArgs^ e
) override
protected override function OnMouseDown(
    e : MouseEventArgs
)

Parameters

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate.

The OnMouseDown method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

When overriding this method in a derived class, call the OnMouseDown method of the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
