ContextNodeBaseCollection.IndexOf Method (Guid)

Returns the index of a specific ContextNodeBase object within a ContextNodeBaseCollection by using the node's identifier.

Parameters

Return Value

Type: System.Int32
The index of the specific ContextNodeBase object within the ContextNodeBaseCollection.

Remarks

If a Guid is passed in and no ContextNodeBase object exists with that identifier in ContextNodeBaseCollection, then this method returns -1.

Examples

The following example shows how to find the index of a specific ContextNodeBase, myNode, which might be contained in a ContextNodeBaseCollection named nodes.

Dim myNodePosition As Integer = nodes.IndexOf(myNode.Id)
         int myNodePosition = nodes.IndexOf(myNode.Id);
