Uninstalling Workflow

This section describes the procedures for removing an installation of Workflow Manager from a node in a farm and for removing a farm. Before uninstalling you should close Configuration Wizard if it is running.

Uninstalling Workflow Manager

Use the following procedure to remove Workflow Manager from a node in a farm. You must perform these actions on every node from which you want to uninstall Workflow Manager.

  1. Remove the node from the farm using the wizard as described in Leaving a Farm, or using PowerShell cmdlets as described in Managing Farms and Nodes.

  2. In the Windows Start menu, click Control Panel.

  3. In the Control Panel window, under Programs select Uninstall a Program.

  4. Find the following items in the program list and, for each item, click Uninstall on the menu bar above the program list.

    1. Workflow Manager 1.0

    2. Workflow Manager 1.0 Client

    3. Service Bus 1.0

    4. Windows Fabric

Deleting Existing Service Bus and Workflow Manager Farms

Use the following procedure to delete an existing farm:

  1. Back up any databases associated with the Workflow Manager installations.

  2. Remove each node from the farm using the wizard as described in Leaving a Farm, or using PowerShell cmdlets as described in Managing Farms and Nodes.

  3. Uninstall Workflow and Service Bus as described above.

  4. Use SQL Management Studio to remove the databases that were associated with Workflow Manager. Databases should only be removed after all nodes in the farm have been removed. These databases are:

    1. WfManagementDB

    2. SbGatewayDatabase

    3. SBContainer01

    4. WFInstanceManagementDB

    5. WFResourceManagementDB

    6. SBManagementDB
