Due Date Field, Assembly Header Table
Specifies the date on which the assembled item is due to be available for use, either by a sales order as an end item, or by an assembly or production order as a subassembly. By default, the work date is inserted.
Additional Information
The Due Date field is related to the Ending Date field as follows:
due date – safety lead time – warehouse handling time = ending date
If the assembly order is linked to a sales order, then the Due Date field is automatically filled according to the Shipment Date field on the sales order line.
This field and the Starting Date field are updated when you change the Ending Date field.
Note
If the assembly order is linked to a sales order, then the Due Date field is not updated when you change the Ending Date field.
