VendCategory::exist Method

Indicates whether the specified record in the VendCategory table exists.

• _vendAccount
  Type: VendAccount Extended Data Type
  The vendor account number.

• _categoryId
  Type: RecId Extended Data Type
  The record ID of the EcoResCategory record.

• _vendTableDataAreaId
  Type: DataAreaId Extended Data Type
  The field in the VendTable table that is associated to the _vendAccountNum parameter.

Return Value

Type: boolean
true if the specified record exists; otherwise, false.
