Fixed assets budget register entries (form)

Click Fixed assets > Inquiries > Fixed assets budget register entries.

Use this form to view budget register entries for fixed assets.

You can also create budget account entries for any fixed asset in the fixed assets budget journal. You can create budget account entries for a particular fixed asset in one of its value models. To do this, click Forecasting in the Value models form.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
Overview	View information about fixed asset budget register entries.
General	View additional information about the selected fixed asset budget register entry.

Buttons

Button	Description
Budget register entries	View the ledger budget register entries that are associated with the selected budget model.
Transfer	Transfer fixed asset budgets that have a posting status of Posted to fixed asset budgets to ledger budgets. When transferred, the posting status changes to Posted to ledger budgets. View the journals in the Budget register entry form. (Click Budgeting > Common > Budget register entries > All budget register entries. On the Action Pane, click Edit.)

Fields

Field	Description
Budget model	Select a budget model.
Fixed asset number	The identifier for the fixed asset number.
Value model	Enter a unique name for the value model.
Transaction type	Select a type for the fixed asset budget register entry.
Ledger account	Select the account number that is used for posting the budget register entry in General ledger. Note The information in this field is maintained in the following form: Main accounts - chart of accounts (form) Financial dimension values (form)
Transaction date	Enter the date of the budget register entry.
Amount in transaction currency	Enter the amount in the currency of the budget register entry.
Currency	Select the currency code for the amount in the Amount in transaction currency field. Note The information in this field is maintained in the following form:  Currencies (form)
Comments	Enter text that describes the budget register entry.
Posting status	The posting status for the budget: Posted to fixed asset budgets or Posted to ledger budgets.
Consumption units	The quantity of consumption units.
Ledger account	The ledger account number, which includes financial dimensions, for posting in the general ledger. Note The information in this field is maintained in the following form:  Main accounts - chart of accounts (form)
Offset account	The offset ledger account number, which includes financial dimensions, for posting in the general ledger. Note The information in this field is maintained in the following form:  Main accounts - chart of accounts (form)
