Fixed assets transfer history (form)

How you open this form depends on what version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 you are using.

  • In AX 2012 R3 and cumulative update 7 or later for AX 2012 R2:

    Click Fixed assets > Common > Fixed assets > Fixed assets. Select or double-click a fixed asset. On the Action Pane, click Review transfer history.

  • In earlier versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012:

    Click Fixed assets > Common > Fixed assets > Fixed assets. Select or double-click a fixed asset. On the Action Pane, click Transfer history.

    –or–

    Click Fixed assets > Common > Fixed assets > Fixed assets. Select or double-click a fixed asset. On the Action Pane, click Transfer fixed asset. Click Fixed asset transfer history.

Use this form to view the transfer history for the selected fixed asset. If this form is blank, the fixed asset has not been transferred by using the Transfer fixed assets form or the Mass transfer form. When you update the default financial dimensions for a fixed asset in the Value models form, a transfer entry is not created or displayed in the Transfer history form.

Note

In cumulative update 6 for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or earlier versions, the Transfer fixed assets form is called Fixed asset transfer. The Mass transfer form is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 or cumulative update 7 or later for AX 2012 R2 is installed.

Transfer fixed assets

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Voucher

The voucher number for the transaction.

Transfer date

The date when the transfer was completed.

Value model

The name of the value model for the selected fixed asset.

Value at transfer

The value of the fixed asset when it was transferred.

Name

The name of a financial dimension that is associated with the selected value model.

From value

The value that was assigned to the financial dimension before the transfer.

To value

The value that the financial dimension had after the transfer was completed.

Transfer comments

Any comments that were entered when the transfer was made.
