Click Human resources > Setup > Compensation > Fixed compensation actions.
Use this form to set up fixed compensation actions. Fixed compensation actions have the following two purposes:
You use fixed compensation actions if you change the fixed compensation setup for an employee. The fixed compensation action is mandatory information if you increase or decrease the employee's base payment. For example, you might do this for a promotion or a demotion.
The actions are also applied in the event process for automatic calculation of new fixed compensation plans.

Select a type to determine the action. Note The Merit option allows you to enter an increase amount and an increase percentage when you change the compensation. The other action types listed in this field only allow changes to the pay rate amount. |

Indicate if the fixed compensation action is active. |
