Click Project management and accounting > Common > Item tasks > Item requirements.

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. On the Action Pane, on the Manage tab, in the New group, click Item task. Then click Item requirement.

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > Project contracts. On the Action Pane, on the Maintain tab, in the Related information group, click Item tasks. Then click Item requirements.
Note
When no items are listed in this form, its title is Item requirements. When an item is selected in the form, the form title changes to Product name and reflects the name of the item.
An item requirement is a reservation of inventory items from the company's own inventory. Use this form to reserve an amount or number of items for a project, and then to add the cost of the items to the project when the items are used in the project.

Tax information |
Enter tax information by location for a project. The selected tax information is used to calculate local taxes on inventory items consumed in the project. |

Export order |
Select this check box to indicate that the item requirement is for an export sales order. |
TDS group |
Select a Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) group to calculate the taxes for the transaction. |
TCS group |
Select a Tax Collected at Source (TCS) group to calculate the taxes for the transaction. |
Assessable value |
Enter the assessable value for the transaction. By default, the assessable value is the sum of the net amount plus any charges on the transaction line. |
Max. retail price |
Enter the maximum price for the item on the transaction line. |
Location |
Select the primary location for sales tax purposes. The location that you select determines the values in the Address, Tax information, Registration number, Tax Account Number (TAN), ECC number - others, IEC number, and STC number fields. |
Tax information |
The identification number for the tax information profile for the selected location. |
Excise type |
Select an excise type for the project:

ECC number - others |
The Excise Control Code (ECC) number for the selected address and excise type. |
Excise tariff code |
The excise tariff code assigned to the project. |
Excise record type |
The type of the excise record based on the excisable project transactions. |
Direct settlement |
Select the excise register that you want to use to update the excise amount. |
DSA |
Select this check box to update the project transaction details in the Daily stock account (DSA) register. |
Consignment |
Select this check box to indicate that a project transaction is a consignment. |
Tax Identification Number (TIN) |
The Tax Identification Number assigned to the selected location. |
VAT commodity code |
The value-added tax (VAT) commodity code that is assigned to the location. |
Registration number |
The India sales tax registration number for the primary address assigned to the project. |
Form type |
The India sales tax form type for the project. |
IEC number |
The Import-Export Code (IEC) number for the selected location. |
Customs tariff code |
The export tariff code for the selected location. |
STC number |
The Service Tax Code (STC) for the selected location. |
Service code |
Select the type of service for the transaction. |
Tax Account Number (TAN) |
The Tax Account Number (TAN) that is assigned to the project transactions based on the address location assigned to the project. |
