Lending (form)

Click Fixed assets > Common > Fixed assets > Fixed assets. Select a fixed asset group and then click Lend.

Use this form to record details about the lending of fixed assets in the company.

You can view fixed asset lending details in inquiries and on the Fixed asset lending report and Fixed asset lending history report.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
General tab	Select or view the location of the fixed asset and information about the selected lending record.
Financial dimensions	View information about financial dimensions, such as the default dimensions and where the dimensions are used in account structures and advanced rule structures.

Field	Description
Lending date	The date that the fixed asset was lent to an employee.
Expected return date	The date that the fixed asset is expected to be returned.
Actual return date	The date that the fixed asset was returned. If this field is empty, the fixed asset is still on loan.
Loaned to	The employee who has the fixed asset on loan.
Fixed asset number	The new fixed asset number.
Location	The location of the fixed asset.
Financial dimensions	The financial dimensions that were set up in the Financial dimensions form.
Where the %1 dimension is used	The account structures and advanced rule structures that use the financial dimensions that you selected in the Financial dimensions or Default financial dimensions field group. Note The name of the field depends on the selection in the Financial dimensions or Default financial dimensions field group.
