Production data on current job (form)

Click Production control > Common > Production orders > Current production jobs. Double-click the job that you want to view information about. In the Job list form, click Details.
Use this form to view information about the job, operation, and production for the current job. This information can help you make decisions about production.
Navigating the form
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Job |
View detailed information about the job. The type is determined by the operations scheduling process. The scheduled start date is determined by the job scheduling process. You can also check the job status. The job status ranges from Coming, which is assigned when the job is started, to Ended. Ended is assigned when the operation or production journal is reported as finished. Finally, you can check what percentage of the production is finished. This percentage is updated every time that a recording is made in the route journal or job journal. For more information, see Production journal lines, job card (form). |
Operation |
View details about the operation. You can select an existing operation or enter one manually. The operation number shows where the operation occurs in the production sequence. The priority controls the method that is used to handle simultaneous operations. You can also see which operations resource is used, the start and end dates, and the number of operations that are reported as finished. |
Production |
View information about the production, such as the item, type, quantity, delivery time, and status. |

Job identification |
The unique identifier of the job. |
Task type |
The type of work that is performed. The task type can be one of the following:

Resource |
The resource that performs the job. The resource is selected from the operations resources defined on the production route. For more information, see Production route (form). |
Personnel number |
The identifier of the worker who is assigned to the job. |
Calculated time |
The total number of hours that are required to complete the job. |
Resource time |
The number of hours that are reserved on the operations resource. |
Start date |
The date that the job is scheduled to start. The date is determined when you run operations scheduling and job scheduling. |
End date |
The date that the job is scheduled to end. The date is determined when you run operations scheduling and job scheduling. |
Start time |
The time when the job is scheduled to start. The time is determined by job scheduling. |
End time |
The time when the job is scheduled to end. |
Job status |
The status of the production job. The following values are available:

Processing percentage |
The progress of the production, expressed as a percentage. The field is updated when an update is performed on the job, or when the route journal or job journal is posted to the ledger. |
Hours |
The total number of hours that were consumed by the job. |
Good quantity |
The number of good items that were reported as finished. |
Error quantity |
The number of defective items that were reported as finished. |
Oper. No. |
The operation number. The operation number specifies where the operation occurs in a sequence of operations. |
Priority |
The priority of the operation. The priority indicates whether the operation is performed first when two operations are scheduled to occur at the same time. The primary operation should be the operation that loads the bottleneck resource. Individual routes and productions determine the resources that are the bottleneck. A resource that is the bottleneck on one route, and therefore is the primary operation for simultaneous operations on that route, can be secondary on another route. If the operation is not primary, the times from the primary operation are used to schedule the secondary operation. |
Operation |
The operation in the production route that uses the assigned resource group or resource. |
Resource |
The operations resource or resource group that is used for the operation. For more information, see Resource groups (form) and Resources (form). By default, the field displays the resource that is assigned to the operation. For more information, see Operations (form). |
Resource type |
The type of resource that is assigned to the operation. A resource type can be a vendor, human resource, tool, machine, or location. |
Load |
The maximum capacity that the operations resource can be loaded with. The amount is displayed as a percentage. |
Start date |
The date that the operation is scheduled to start. The start date is calculated when you run operations scheduling or job scheduling. |
End date |
The date that the operation is scheduled to end. The end date is calculated when you run operations scheduling or job scheduling. |
Start time |
The time that the operation is scheduled to start. The start time is calculated when you run job scheduling. |
End time |
The time that the operation is scheduled to end. The end time is calculated when you run job scheduling. |
Reported as finished |
A selected check box indicates that the operation is finished. |
Production |
The unique identifier of the production order. When new production orders are created, the number is either allocated automatically or entered manually. For more information, see Production orders (form). |
Hours |
The total number of hours that were consumed by the operations. |
Good quantity |
The number of good items that were reported as finished. |
Error quantity |
The number of defective items that were reported as finished. |
Item number |
The unique identifier of the item that is produced. The item to be produced is specified when production is set up. For more information, see Create production order (form) and Production orders (form). |
Name |
The name of the production item. For more information, see Create production order (form). |
Type |
The type of production. The type indicates whether the production work is performed internally or by an external vendor. The following types are available:

Quantity |
The scheduled production quantity. For more information, see Production orders (form). |
Delivery |
The delivery or finish date for the production. You can use the delivery date in operations or job scheduling for the production, where the scheduling can be selected backward from the delivery date. You can set up the system so that it creates subproductions in the BOM when you run operations scheduling or job scheduling for a production order. If this is set up, the delivery date for the subproductions is set to the date when the item is used in the production. Operations in the subproduction are then scheduled backward from delivery date. Note If you create a production from a sales order, the system sets the delivery date to the ship date of the order line. |
Time |
The scheduled time of delivery. |
Status |
The phase of the production cycle that the production order is in. The system updates the production status when an update or scheduling is run on a production order. The life cycle of a production order includes the following phases: created, estimated, planned, released, started, reported as finished, and ended. Remain status |
The remainder status on the production orders. For information, see Production orders (form). |
Scheduling status |
The type of scheduling that has been performed on the production. Operations scheduling is the less detailed of the two types of scheduling available in the production system. Operations scheduling is often used to estimate the duration of the production process. Job scheduling is the more detailed of the two scheduling types available in the production system. Job scheduling generates a Jobs form that is based on operations specified for the attached production route. |
Quality order status |
The status of related quality orders. For more information, see Quality orders (form). |
Estimated |
The quantity that is used as the basis for cost estimating. This quantity can differ from the quantity that has been planned, started, or reported as finished. |
Started |
The start quantity. The start quantity is updated automatically with the quantity that is started. |
Report remainder as finished |
The number remaining to be reported as finished. |
