Vendor bank accounts (form)

Click Accounts payable > Common > Vendors > All vendors. Select a vendor account. On the Action Pane, in the Set up group, click Bank accounts.
Use this form to create and manage vendor bank accounts. This information is used if you have to make a payment to a vendor bank account.

Bank account |
The number that identifies the vendor bank account. |

Name |
The name that is used to identify this account on printed reports and throughout Microsoft Dynamics AX. |

Bank groups |
Select or view a bank group. The address of the bank group is automatically copied to the vendor bank account. |

Vendor account |
The vendor account number. |

Routing number type |
The type of routing number for international payments.
The following is the number of digits that is used for the routing number types.
Note The field can be used together with the Routing number field. It is required for the following payment formats if the routing number is filled in:

Routing number |
The number that the bank uses to identify itself. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Bank account number |
The account number for the vendor, as assigned by the bank. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
CIN |
The Control Internal Number (CIN) that is required for national vendor payments.
Note ITA) This control is available only to legal entities whose primary address is in Italy. |

Type of account |
Used to separate payments by using Postgiro Bank Invoice Payment Service. |

DUNS |
The unique, nine-digit Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number that is assigned to this vendor by Dun & Bradstreet. To enter the DUNS number, you can right-click in this field and select View details. Note This control is available only if the Public Sector configuration key is selected. |

+4 DUNS segment |
A four-character location identifier that is assigned to this vendor, if the vendor has more than one bank or electronic funds transfer (EFT) account. This identifier is assigned in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), which is the primary vendor database for the United States federal government. Note This control is available only if the Public Sector configuration key is selected. |

SWIFT code |
The SWIFT payment code, which is used for money transfers to foreign countries/regions. Every bank has its own SWIFT code, also known as BIC (Bank Identifier Code). |

IBAN |
The International Bank Account Number (IBAN). This number can contain up to 34 alphanumeric characters. |

Bank account type |
The bank account type that is used to separate payments that are made through the Postgiro Bank Invoice Payment Service. |

Active date |
The date, converted to your time zone, when the bank account is available to be used for electronically generated payments. The bank account can accept payments starting at midnight on the date you specify.
If you leave this field blank, the bank account is active immediately.
For information about time zones, see Place a General ledger transaction on hold. |

Expiration date |
The date when the bank account is no longer available to accept payments.
If this field is blank, the bank account has no expiration date. |

Status |
The status of the bank account.
If both the Active date and Expiration date fields are blank, the bank account is active. |

Text code |
The code that specifies text on the bank statement of the recipient. |

Message to bank |
A message that is sent to the bank together with the payment. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Exchange reference |
The reference number of any forward-term or fixed-term rate of exchange. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Cross rate |
The negotiated exchange rate for the vendor. If a cross rate is specified, it is used during journal entry instead of the standard exchange rates. |

Bank |
The name of the vendor bank that the prenote was created for. |

Prenote status |
The status of the prenote, which can be Pending or Approved. |

Prenote approval date |
The date when the prenote was approved. |

Address |
View the formatted information for the selected address. This is the address that will appear on a printed document. The original address record may contain information that is not included in this view, depending on the specific country/region format. |

Name of person |
The contact person in the bank who handles this account. |

Telephone |
The main telephone number for the bank. |

Extension |
The direct dial number for the contact person at the bank. |

The pager number. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Mobile phone |
The telephone number of the vendor contact's mobile phone. |

Fax |
The fax number for the bank. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The email address that is used for correspondence with the bank regarding this account. |

SMS |
The email address that is used for sending SMS messages to a mobile phone. |

Internet address |
The website address of the bank that holds this account. This address can contain up to 80 characters. |

Telex number |
The Telex number at the bank. The number can be an alphanumeric string of up to 20 characters. |
