Uninstall or repair Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook

Note
If an uninstallation is not completed while you are logged on to the client computer as the user who originally installed the application, the offline database will remain attached to the instance of Microsoft SQL Server Express. After the uninstall is complete, you can manually detach the offline database.
When you uninstall Dynamics CRM for Outlook, the program files are removed and the application is no longer available. Instead of uninstall, you can disable Dynamics CRM for Outlook. To disable, start Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 Diagnostics. On the Advanced Troubleshooting tab, choose Disable, and then choose Save. Later, you can enable Dynamics CRM for Outlook by following the same procedure.
If other users run Dynamics CRM for Outlook on the same device, those users should sign out of Microsoft Windows before uninstalling Dynamics CRM for Outlook. This is especially true for Citrix or Remote Desktop environments where additional sessions are common and should be closed before uninstalling Dynamics CRM for Outlook.
Uninstall or Repair
To uninstall or repair Dynamics CRM for Outlook, select from the following available options. Before you select an option, you must start Programs and Features in Control Panel.
Uninstall Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook
On the Uninstall or change a program page, choose Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 for Microsoft Office Outlook, and then choose Uninstall/Change. The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 for Outlook Setup wizard starts.
On the Choose the installation you want page, choose Uninstall.
When the wizard finishes, choose Close.
Note
Uninstalling Dynamics CRM for Outlook might require that you restart the computer.
Repair Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook
On the Uninstall or change a program page, choose Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 for Microsoft Office Outlook, and then choose Uninstall/Change. The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 for Outlook Setup wizard starts.
On the Choose the installation you want page, choose Repair.
When the wizard finishes, choose Close.
Files not removed during a Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook uninstall
The following files, although installed during Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 for Outlook Setup, are not removed when you uninstall Dynamics CRM for Outlook.
*Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Client\ConfigWizard\CrmForOutlookInstaller.exe
Windows\CrmClient.mif
*The default folder name is Program Files or Program Files (x86).
